Information about Peter Oddy... Peter G. Oddy, MAI, is the managing member of ODDY & ASSOCIATES, PLLC. He has lived in Kirkland, Washington since 1994 and operated ODDY & ASSOCIATES since 1990, appraising and consulting on a wide range of commercial real estate properties. Since 1990, Mr. Oddy and the appraisal company have appraised a wide range of commercial properties, such as offices, retail buildings, industrial structures and special-use properties. These assignments have been completed for a variety of public entities, private companies, individuals and advisors such as accountants or attorneys. Two of the more noteworthy of these development projects are "The Presidio" in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the "North Coast Executive Center" in Oxnard, California. Both are mid-sized office buildings with spectacular curva-lineal architecture It is difficult to advise others unless you have actively participated in the market as Mr. Oddy has done. His experience in all facets of real estate development provides a unique basis for professional valuation of complex commercial real estate issues. Mr. Oddy's experience in development includes land acquisition, permitting, financing, feasibility, valuation, sales, and leasing, and management of architects, engineers and contractors. Mr. Oddy is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of Washington and has a five-year degree in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia, with specialization in Finance and Urban Land Economics.
Since February of 1994, Mr. Oddy has been an MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute. The Appraisal Institute is the world's leading organization of professional real estate appraisers. The Appraisal Institute's MAI membership designation is conferred on individuals who have met stringent education requirements and appraisal experience.
